Adapter

We hold charging adapter and adapters for various countries at the reception.

Additional bedding

In order to have everything ready for your stay with us, please ask for any special or extra requests you might have prior to arrival. We can provide various types of pillows and duvets.

Allergy sufferers

We have pillows and duvets for your comfort. Please ask our housekeeping team or on reception.

Balcony room

Some rooms are equipped with a balcony; these are shown as separate categories in our booking section.

Bath towels

There are bath and sauna towels for your disposal in the entrance area. Please do not take them from your room.

Bathroom stool

On request, we will supply a stool for your bathroom.

Bicycle garage and e-bike charging station

The hotel has a lockable bicycle garage opposite the main building. There is also a power connection for charging bicycle batteries. Charging bicycle batteries in the room is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.

Please note that we do not offer rental bikes.

Breakfast

The breakfast buffet is available for you in the hotel lobby from 7 AM to 10 AM to Friday and from 7:30 AM to 10 AM on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays.

Bus

Bus stops are located at Peterzeller Straße and Kirnacher Straße. A timetable and further information can be obtained at the reception.

Cancellation

If you need to cancel your stay, please use the same communication channel as when booking. We also require the cancellation request in writing.

  • If you booked directly at the hotel (by email or phone) send us an email with the cancellation request.
  • If you have used our online booking channel, the cancellation will also be made via our online booking channel.
  • If the booking was made via an external platform, such as Booking.com, Expedia or HRS, the cancellation must also be made via this.

You will find the respective cancellation conditions in your reservation confirmation.

Central Safe

Most rooms have their own safe. If your room does not have a safe, you are welcome to use our central safe at reception. Please do not hesitate to contact us.

Change of bed linen

For our long staying guests, we will change the bed sheets every 3 days. Would you’ll like this done on a more frequent basis? Contact our reception team.

Check-in and check-out times

We guarantee, that our rooms are ready no later than 2:00 PM. Therefore, we ask you to clear the room no later than 11:00 AM on departure day, so that the next guest can also profit from it.

Conference assistance

Our reception is pleased to help you if you have any questions or wishes.

Conference rooms

You will find the two conference rooms from the main entrance to the right. The rooms are named after our twin cities Villingen and Schwenningen and signposted in front of the respective room.

Copy service

Please contact our reception if you would like to copy documents.

Cosmetic items

Forgotten something? Not a problem! We hold a selection of cosmetic items at reception.and in the small box in your bathroom.

Crib

We will automatically provide a crib in the room if you have specified children aged 0 to 3 years when making the reservation. In this case you do not need to do anything else.

Detailed information

You can find detailed information for all conference services in our conference brochure, which is available at our receptions or as PDF file by email.

Dry Cleaning

Your dry cleaning will be done by a trusted outside business. Return deliveries are Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays only. Please contact the reception for further information.

Elevator

We would like to inform you, that our lift is not in operation during the night hours or on our rest days (Sunday & Monday).

Express check out

For an express check out, your pre-authorized credit card details are required. Please inform reception beforehand, should you wish this form of departure.

Fax

Please note that we will no longer provide a fax machine from 2024.

Golf

We are an official partner of the Golf- und Countryclub Königsfeld. If you are interested in playing at the 11 km golf course, let us know. We would be happy to reserve a tee time for you.

Grander Water

The entire building is equipped with the technology of Grander® since the opening of our wellness-area. Therefore, our guests are constantly in touch with this purified water – in the shower, when you are washing and drinking; Even the kitchen is cooking with it.

Half-board

Some of our room flat rates or arrangements include a half-board menu in the evening. In this case we have already reserved a table for you in our restaurant. To check if your flat rate includes half-board check your reservation confirmation. Half board could be also provide as additional booking - please contact the reception.

Herb garden

Have you already seen our herb garden, left of the main entrance? The herbs growing there are also used by our chefs for the meals.

Hotel bar

Please note that the hotel does not have a bar. All rooms are equipped with a minibar in case you want to have a drink late at night.

We offer a selection of aperitifs and digestifs in the hotel lobby, lounge, outdoor lounge, restaurant terrace or garden hut during restaurant opening hours.

Your booking confirmation will explain all included services of your reservation.

Internet terminal

There is a notebook including a printing option in the hotel lobby. Please ask at reception for the printed documents. This will be charged at the rates outlined, under the Conference section in this brochure.

Ironing board

There are ironing facilities on every floor. Please ask at reception or a member of our housekeeping if you require help.

Jogging

An optimal jogging route (direction Groppertal) starts directly behind the building. For further information on other jogging routes, the reception staff is at your disposal. At our homepage www.rindenmuehle.de you may find also some jogging routes, which can be imported to you mobile device trough Google Maps.

Kitchen style

All our foods are exclusively made from fresh products and are homemade. In this process, we offer food from regional, French and Mediterranean kitchen.

Lost & Found

We keep lost property from the guest rooms and public areas for at least 6 months. If you are missing an item, please contact us. Please understand that the costs for a postal forwarding are to be borne by the recipient.

Luggage Service

We will help you with the luggage at check-in or check-out. Please inform the reception for any assistance.

Maps

City maps, - hiking and cycling maps are available at the reception.

Means of payment

In addition to paying in cash, we also accept Mastercard, Visa Card, American Express, debit card and Maestro/V-Pay.

Menu card

We provide menu cards in English language.

Minibar

All beverages in our minibar are charged at €3,50 per bottle. The team will restock these on a daily basis.

Natural pool

The new outdoor natural pool, open since April 2023, promises pure refreshment. Thanks to a state-of-the-art filtration system based on mechanical-biological processes, the water is effectively purified without the use of chlorine or other chemicals. This pool is an ideal addition to our wellness oasis during the summer months and impresses with generous dimensions of 14 x 4 m.

The natural pool can be used from April to October, depending on the weather.

Night entrance

There is no night auditor in the hotel, so the hotel lobby and main entrance are closed during night times for your own security. You can use one of the night entrances with your key card outside the business hours.

Non-smoking rooms

Please note that all rooms are non-smoking rooms. On violation, we must charge another guest-night, because we cannot sell a room smelling of smoke.

Below you will find the opening and service hours of all our facilities at a glance:

  • Reception: Monday from 7 am to 8 pm, Tuesday to Saturday from 7 am to 9 pm
  • Restaurant: Tuesday to Saturday from 12 pm to 2 pm and 6 pm to 10 pm
  • Breakfast: Monday to Friday from 7 am to 10 am, weekends and holidays from 7:30 am to 10 am
  • Wellness area: Daily from 6 am to 9 pm
  • Sauna: On request daily from 3 pm to 9 pm

Other services

Our team will try and help with any other wishes you might have. Additional services outside service hours will be charged at cost (min. €40).

Parking area and Parking service

Our parking lot directly in front of the hotel is available to you free of charge during your stay.

This also offers sufficient space for larger vehicles such as buses or trucks. Please contact us so that we can reserve the parking space for you.

Please note that we do not reserve parking spaces for individual passenger cars.

The parking spaces are not covered. There are no garage spaces available.

Pets

Dogs are welcome upon prior request in some selected rooms and are welcome in the hotel lobby, breakfast area and restaurant. Out of consideration for people with allergies, dogs are not allowed in our rooms with parquet floors.

We ask for your understanding that check-in will be refused if unannounced pets are brought along.

Print service

Please note that for safety reasons we cannot print documents from USB-drives or other data drives. In this case please send us an e-mail with the document attached.

Radio

All rooms are equipped with digital TVs, which can also receive radio channels.

Reception

Our reception and hotel lobby are open from Tuesday to Saturday from 7 am to 9 pm and Sundays from 7 am to 2 pm. Outside the service times, the arrival is done by self-checkin. In this case, please be sure to provide us with an email address for all arriving guests so that we can send you the access code and description in advance.

Sewing Kit

The sewing kit is held in the Romantik Box in your bathroom.

Sewing service

If you have stitching buttons for your clothes, we will be glad to provide you a sewing service. Just ask at the reception. Surcharge according to expenditure. (Depending on availability)

Shoe polishing service

We will polish your shoes for a small fee. Please ask at reception. A polish kit is available free of charge at reception. (Depending on availability)

Spa bags

We have prepared sauna bags with a bathrobe and sauna towel for you. You will find these in the lockers in the wellness area. Additional bath and sauna towels are available in the sauna area. Please do not bring these from your room.

Star rating

Our hotel is classified with a 4-star rating by the German hospitality association DEHOGA since November 1st, 2014.

Sunbeds

If you fancy a sunbath; there are lounge chairs available on the meadow to the left of the hotel building or in the spa area.

Swimming pool

The public outdoor pool of Villingen is located in the immediate vicinity of our hotel. You can reach the main entrance in 5 minutes on foot. The indoor swimming pool of Villingen is also within 5 minutes by car.

TV

All our rooms have a digital flat screen TV, radio stations are also available.

Table Reservation

If you would like to visit our restaurant, we strongly recommend making a table reservation directly when booking your room or a few days in advance. Use our online table reservation tool for this.

We ask for your understanding that a room booking does not guarantee a free table in the restaurant. On our days of rest (Sunday, Monday) there is no catering.

Towels

Please leave your used towels on the bathroom floor. If you are happy to use them for more than one day, please leave them hanging up. The environment will thank you!

Treatments

For further relaxation, we offer you a selection of treatments and massages. Detailed information is available at the reception. Please note that you have to request the treatment 7 days in advance and that we cannot guarantee for an appointment on site.
The treatments will be done by a certified physiotherapist

Villingen

The town of Villingen is a Zähringer foundation dating back to the year 1119. 3 of 4 city gates and the historic downtown still exist after the model of the Zähringer. You can also take part in a guided tour. The distance to the city center of Villingen is about 2 km. By car you need about 5 minutes, by foot about 25 minutes. You can get a city map at reception.

We provide wake up call service. Please contact the reception and mention your preferred time

Washing and ironing service

Please hand in your clothes at reception by 09:00 AM in order to provide a same day return. Surcharge according to expenditure. (Depending on availability).

WiFi

In the whole hotel area, you can go online by our hotel’s HotSpot-System. Just connect to the network named “RM-Gast” on your device. The login page opens automatically. Enter the code you got at your check-in and accept the terms of use. This service is inclusive.

Without additives

We attach great importance to the preparation of our dishes; therefore, no artificial substances are processed. We use exclusively seasonal products and none are finished or semi-finished products. Nevertheless, our food can contain one or more of the 14 main allergens.
If you have allergy problems, please contact us, we would be happy to advise you individually.
